Regardless of the words spoken to or over you throughout your life, you were never ever a mistake or an accident. I pray that God gives you the strength to face those untruthful words with his truth.
When God made you, he made you special. The creator took time to put your entire “frame” together. When you were made in the “secret place,” he saw you.
God’s eyes saw your unformed body and all your days that you would be were written in your book before one of them came to be.”
Psalm 139:15-16 NIV
It’s ok to put boundaries in place that honors your life, family, faith, supports healthy habits and soundness of mind and spirit.
Take small steps. If this is your first time or you’re unsure how to put new plans in place, here are a few suggestions.
1. You can join a new small group of people who encourage and uplift.
2. Block out a time of day for just doing something you love, or to rediscover things you’ve once enjoyed.
3. Take up a new interest.
4. Join a book club. I’ve recently joined a book club made up of incredible women. I’m so excited about getting back to reading.
5. Refrain from arguments.
6. Make new commitments. I’ll share what mine looks like in a follow up post.
What small steps have you taken to rid yourself of unhealthy habits, people and patterns?
